Rainy cloudy days used to frustrate me. I always had plans and anything that threatened to interrupt my plans was met with intensity.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There\u2019s an old saying that \u2018we don’t see things as they are, we see them as we are\u2019. What you see is a choice. The reality is, I was simply impatient. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I still have a full calendar, but I enjoy a rainy day. It\u2019s a great opportunity to slow down, make alternative plans, and be present. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Like today. It rained of course, but I took the opportunity to relax at Sully\u2019s Rooftop in Mooloolaba. I sat with a friend and took in the view, we talked, read, ate food and put myself in a positive mindset for the week ahead.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It\u2019s just a different view, and where else would I want to be? Bring on the rain! #goodwork #lead #rebuild<\/p>\n\n\n\n
